Noah Okech Oluoch was arraigned before Milimani anti-corruption Court magistrate Thomas Nzyoki where he was charged with three counts of forgery.
It was alleged that he fraudulently obtained Sh1,445,066 salary and allowances from the agency after being employed using a forged degree certificate.
Prosecution claimed that he had forged a master’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Nairobi.
He denied the charges and through his lawyer asked court to grant him reasonable bond terms.
The court granted him a Sh1 million bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh500,000.
The magistrate further ordered him to deposit his passport in court within the next seven days.
