An alleged fake lawyer who was charged with being a fake lawyer has pleaded to a fresh count of pretending to be an advocate.
Ralph Edward Nzwii was charged afresh and he denied four counts including the new count of pretending to be advocate.
It was alleged that on June 11 2019 at Stanbic bank Westlands while opening an account he pretended to be an advocate.
He denied the charge before trial Magistrate Zainab Abdul.
He also denied three other counts of Forgery, uttering a false document and being an unqualified person acting as an advocate.
In the main count the prosecution allege that on February 24 last year, with the intent to defraud he forged a release agreement purporting it to be genuine release agreement made by Arwa and Change Advocates.
The court released him on the same bond terms that he was given when he was initially charged.
The case was coming up for pre-trial and his lawyer Danstan Omari told court that they had been supplied with all documents for the trial.
The hearing was set for March 13 next year.
