The court will tomorrow rule whether it will release Mathe Wa Ngara on bail or not.
Mathe Wa Ngara’s bail hearing was adjourned to today after she collapsed in court on Monday after taking plea.
In a medical report filed in court from JKIA port health, Nancy Kigunzu Alias Mathe Wa Ngara was treated for back pain and severe headache.
Clinical officer Pauline Achieng said they have put her on treatment and advised to take water and rest.
JKIA senior Principal Magistrate Njeri Thuku scheduled the bail ruling for Thursday after hearing submissions from both sides.
The prosecution has since opposed her release on bail arguing that Mathe wa Ngara and her two kids are a poison to society and should not be granted bail.
The state argued that if released they may abscond due to the seriousness of the offense
However the defense led by lawyer Danstan Omari said bail is a constitutional right and they should be granted bail.
Mathe, her two kids and Teresia Wanjiru were charged with trafficking drugs worth Sh 18 million.
