Big win for Africa as Rwandan Techfirm Stayonline partners with global firm Ucrest to bring digital healthcare to Africa.

Kenyans will now be able to access international doctors digitally using AI after Rwandan techfirm Stayonline partnered with Ucrest Berhad to offer digital healthcare in Africa specifically Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.

In a press conference held in Rwanda, Stayonline and Ucrest said the new partnership will bring medical services closer to East Africa by using AI which is the new era.

Stayonline CEO Desire Muhinyuza and Ucrest CEO and Chairman EG Kah Yee signed the deal sealing the partnership which will integrate payment gateways supporting millions of users into the imedic digital health E-commerce.

The platform will provide millions of users with easy access to medical service providers in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and other countries.

“Patients will not only have access to doctors in the countries, but also the renowned specialists in the United States, Europe, China, Singapore and other countries,” Yee said.

Muhinyuza said they are extending the services to every person in the country, but also every corner in Africa and the world.

“With iMedic™, our users will be able to have access to the top-notch doctors from leading hospitals of the world including MD Anderson, Stanford University Hospital, Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinics in the US and General Hospital 301 and Union Hospital in China,” he said.

He further added that with AI and IOMT technologies powering the healthcare services, it will significantly improve the efficacy of the patients, greatly improve the efficiency of the healthcare industry, tremendously reduce the escalating healthcare costs,” he added.

Yee who is the founder of Ucrest on his part said the partnership with StayOnline Ltd, marks the beginning of the digital health era in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda and Africa in general with the use of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) technologies in providing healthcare care services.
