The body of an unidentified man was found this morning dumped at the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) parking lot, just a few meters from Milimani Law Courts near the Commercial Courts.
It is unclear how the body ended up in the area, which is a stone’s throw from the busiest court in the country.
A closer examination of the body revealed bruises on the head and scars on the back. However, police at the scene have not disclosed further details to the media.
Speaking to reporters at the scene, Rose Kitutu, a vendor at a nearby shop, said she was alerted by a passerby who informed her about a body lying in the thickets close to her business.
Kitutu and others then reported the matter to Capitol Hill Police Station.
The body has since been moved to City Mortuary for identification and a post-mortem examination.
Kitutu has urged the government to repair faulty CCTV cameras along Ngong Road and other parts of Nairobi to help curb the rising insecurity in the city.
