Businessman wants government compelled to produce his brother who was abducted by ‘police’.

A businessman has moved to court seeking to compel the state to produce his brother who was allegedly kidnapped by unknown people wearing police uniform two weeks ago.

Through lawyer Danstan Omari, Hussein Ibrahim Alew is seeking to have the government compelled to produce his brother who allegedly disappeared on 2nd if May this year

In court documents, Alew says that his brother Isaack Ibrahim was allegedly kidnapped from him home in Bulla Afya Location by people who allegedly werw wearing combat police uniform and driving three land cruisers.

“The whereabouts of Isaack Ibrahim remain unknown and unaccounted for and there is reasonable fear that be was abducted by officers attached to the respondents whom have refused to either allow his family to visit him on custody,” reads court papers.

The family of Ibrahim says that they are living with anxiety and stress caused by the forces disappearance and abduction of their loved one.

Omari says that Ibrahim has an absolute right to habeas corpus and to fair trial ,this he should be subjected to due process of the law other than abducting him and leaving his loves ones worrying of his whereabouts.
