The case seeking for removal of Kiambaa Constituency Development Funds Boss Lorna Muthoni will now be mentioned on May 30.
Four people moved to court seeking for the removal of Muthoni on grounds that she is not fit for office.
The four are Richard Mulwa Musyoka,RIchard NZine ,Nicholas Michael and Elizabeth Mumbi.
They argue that Muthoni is unfit to hold public office as she engages kn behaviour that places her office into contempt , disrepute because of abuse of public office and public trust.
Through lawyer Shadrack Wambui, they argue that she engages in acts of nepotism and there has not been any action taken against her with relevant authorities.
However, Lorna through Wambui has filed preliminary objection saying that the court has no jurisdictions to hear the petition adding that it is premature.
She argues that the application and the petition are mere schemes to perpetrate smear campaigns in an attempt to.malign the second reprondents name,”reads the application.
She has asked the court to dismiss the application claiming that the petitioners have been hired and are representing her estranged husband as indicated in witness statement filed in court.
Justice Byrum Ongaya directed that the matter be mentioned next month for further directions.
