Court rules out murder in late marathoner Samuel Wanjiru’s death.

A Nairobi court on Wednesday ruled that late marathoner Samuel Wanjiru was not killed but may have accidentally fell down his balcony.

The court also dismissed the analogy of suicide saying there was no evidence produced in court to support the suicidal theory.

The court said Wanjiru was extremely intoxicated and this could have affected his decision making and also his balance hence the fall.

“He was 24 years and seemed not to have a strong grip of his social life,” the court said

The magistrate said that Wanjiru had taken a life of the bottle but all these combined he was still going outing putting his best foot forward and had even resumed training in a new environment Eldoret therefore the theory of suicidal mission falls.

Despite what the police chiefs had said the court was not satisfied that Wanjiru ended his life .

The court also dismissed the theory that he was killed by other parties .

His mother had told the court that he suspected that Wanjiru was killed. However the court dismissed that theory too.

“We do not have any tangible evidence to prove this”court noted

We have noted that apart from Nduta and the Watchman there was nobody in the compound.

Evidence by the mother was the she could see many people getting in and out of the xoupmoun but when the court viewed the CCTV footage,it was inthe contrary.

The theory that he was caught in a compromising situation inthe house was also dismissed
