The high court will deliver the decision challenging the appointment of Professor Adams Oloo to IEBC Selection Panel in October this year.
Justice Chacha Mwita gave the date after hearing submissions from all parties involved including Oloo who defended his appointment.
In court, Professor Oloo, through his lawyer, argued that the petition lacks merit and should be dismissed.
He says that he had already resigned and that the petitioner had failed to provide sufficient evidence to support their claims.
However, Senior Counsel Apollo Mboya, the petitioner, maintained that Oloo’s appointment should be quashed, citing a conflict of interest.
He said there is conflict of interest that he’s serving two positions at the presidency as a member of selection panel representing the legislature.
