There was drama in Kilifi where Pastor Ezekiel Odero was expected to hold a five-day crusade as the preacher was blocked but his followers stayed put.
Odero’s convoy was blocked from entering the venue and even after he alighted, he was stopped from walking to the venue.
As at the time of going to press, thousands of his followers are still pitched at the venue and have sworn not to leave till Pastor is allowed to preach and with Elnino rains coming shortly a serious health scare might be in the offing.
The followers wondered whether the said crusade was the reason the Kilifi crusade was shut down.
Others have said they also feel strongly that the ban of their crusade was due to yesterday’s attendance of Governor Gideon Mungaro.
Mungaro attended the crusade on Wednesday before it was shut down and accompanied Odero in distributing food to the followers.
