Immigration boss Evelyne Cheluget on Friday visited the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to assess the preparedness to receive delegates for Africa Climate Summit.
Cheluget said she had assessed the preparedness of her officers to receive over 30,000 delegates expected to converge in Nairobi from September 4 to 6.
On Monday Cheluget met hundreds of her officers at the immigration offices in Nairobi and made her maiden speech to them since being appointed to that position.
She said their job was to serve Kenyans and foreigners to get passports and work permits.
