Judge who suspended Finance Act transferred in latest reshuffle

Justice Mugure Thande who issued orders suspending the Finance Act has been transferred from Nairobi to Malindi in the latest reshuffle by the Judiciary.

In a memo by the Principal Judge of the high court Eric Ogola, Justice Thande who has been a judge at the Milimani Constitutional and human rights division has now been transferred to Malindi high court.

In the transfers made by Chief Justice Martha Koome, Justice David Majanja has been transferred from Commercial to Civil division.

Justice Hedwig Ong’udi who has been serving in the same division with Judge Thande has been transferred to Nakuru high court as the Principal Judge.

Justice Hillary Chemitei currently in Nakuru High court has been transferred to Nairobi Milimani family division.

Justice Maureen Odero has been transferred to Nyeri high court as the Presiding Judge from Nairobi Milimani family division.

Others transferred include Justices Florence Muchemi from Nyeri to Thika, Chacha Mwita from milimani commercial to constitutional and Diana Mochache from Milimani criminal to Kahawa and Kibra.
