Ombeta pleads with police not to kill bills businesswoman at the centre of 17 B oil dispute.

City Lawyer Cliff Ombeta has pleaded with the police not to take the life of his client Ann Njoroge who is billionaire businesswoman at the centre of a Sh 17 B oil dispute

Njoroge has been missing since Thursday last week after presenting herself at the police station to record statements on the said dispute.

Njoroge has laid claim of a ship carrying consignment of oil she says is diesel worth Sh 17 B which another company called Galana has laid claim to as well.

Ombeta now says that the last people to be seen with his client were the DCI detectives.

In a video he shared online, Ombeta has asked police not to kill her over a business dispute but instead release her.

He said life is sacred and once taken can’t be given back unlike a business which can be replaced.
