Court orders NIS Sacco suspect to be admitted Aga Khan Hospital

The court on Tuesday ordered a suspect among the 12 who were arrested over the weekend in connection to the loss of 166 M at the NIS Sacco to be taken to hospital.

 

The court ordered that Mirriam Nthenya who fell ill to be admitted at Aga Khan University Hospital for treatment.

 

She was released on a personal bond of sh 10 million by the court as she gets treatment.

 

The prosecution on Monday presented a 57 page chargesheet that was opposed by the defence.

 

The court is expected to deliver a ruling on whether the 223 counts will be admitted or not.
