Sharon Otieno had saved Obado as Honey on her mobile phone

Slain University student Sharon Otieno had saved the former Migori Governor Okoth Obado as honey on her mobile phone.

A forensic expert Ezekiel Ade told court that data retrieved from her phone which was a Huawei tablet showed that she had saved him as honey.

He read to court several messages extracted from the phone between her and the number alleged to belong to Obado who was saved as honey.

One of the messages reads “With you I can think the first day we made luv na CD till then you rocked my life,”

However, later the messages were no longer lovey dovey as it emerges that Sharon had refused to terminate a pregnancy

The message says “It’s there, I didn’t terminate it. Your baby is kicking…it’s as if he is playing football in my womb,”

Then Obado says ““Try your luck elsewhere; you are not going to blackmail me.”

Then Sharon replies ““I’m not blackmailing you in any way. What’s wrong with you? Whether you accept it or not, we are having a baby, it’s a reality you can never escape from.”

In the case, Obado is charged alongside his personal aide Michael Oyamo and Caspal Obiero for the murder of Sharon and her unborn baby.
