The Kisii community has yet again been thrown into mourning following the death of Lawyer Musa Obare Juma barely two months after two other leaders died in separate road accident.
The city lawyer died on September 27 after ordering for a cup of coffee at a Kilimani restaurant.
It is said that Juma who has never been sick performed his normal duties on that day as usual and planned to meet with a colleague for a cup of coffee in Kilimani.
He met his friend at the parking of the restaurant and he was okay then they went in and they placed their orders.
While they were waiting for the order, Juma felt a sharp pain in his chest and upon calling a doctor he was advised to rush to Nairobi Hospital.
His friend drove him to hospital but due to the heavy traffic and his condition, the friend changed course to Nairobi Women’s and upon arrival Juma collapsed and efforts to stabilize him were not successful.
In August, Nyamaiya MCA and majority leader Elijah Osiemo was killed in a road accident and a week later Eric Achoki who was a parliamentary aspirant in West Mugirango died in a road accident at 2 am on the express way when his car allegedly hit a truck on the road.
