Tiktoker MC Zaku in Court for Harassing Dama Wa Spares Online

Popular Tiktoker MC Zaku has been charged in court for alleging that businesswoman Dama Wa Spares used dead people to amass her vast wealth.

MC Zaku, also known as Elvis Mwangi Wanjohi, appeared in court on Monday charged with cyber harassment after allegedly accusing Damaris Mureithi of using deceased individuals to accumulate wealth.

It is alleged that MC Zaku, on various dates between June 30 and July 15, 2024, posted harassing content against Damaris on his TikTok account.

Police informed the court that he posted three grossly offensive videos insinuating that Damaris, the Chief Executive Officer of Dama Mobile Spares Limited, was arrogant and that her wealth was ill-gotten from deceased individuals.

MC Zaku denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and, through his lawyer Simon Mburu, requested the court to grant him reasonable bail.

He was released on a Sh300,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh100,000.
