Transport Board Suspends NTSA Decision to Revoke SuperMetro Buses.

The Transport Licensing Appeals Board has temporarily suspended National Transport and Safety Authority’s (NTSA) decision to revoke the operating license of the Super Metro fleets.

This is a big relief for hundreds of Super Metro buses that had been barred from going to the road by NTSA over alleged flouting of traffic rules.

Super Metro challenged the decision at the board and were able to get orders in their favour.

However, they have been directed to comply with the laws and rules as they resume operations.

Through its chairman Dr.Adrian Kamotho, the board said that the fleets are at liberty to immediately resume operations in due compliance with the law.

“Pending inter party hearing of the motion and the memorandum of appeal, an interim order is hereby issued staying the operation of the desicion of the respondents dated 18th March suspending the operations of the applicant here in. super metro,”reads the order
