Woman who claims Nyachae fathered her children now wants DNA

A US based woman who claims that late minister Simeon Nyachae fathered her three children now wants the court to order for a DNA test to prove ascertain their paternity.

Margaret Chweya who flew into the country with all her kids to give evidence in the case is embroiled in a legal battle with the Nyachae family for a share of his 2 Billion estate.

while testifying in court on Tuesday, told court that she was ready for her three kids now adults to be taken for DNA testing.

This came up when she was being taken through her testimony by Lawyer Danstan Omari when she denied ever being married to four men and having kids for two of them.

The Nyachae Family has opposed to Chweya and her kids being included in the distribution of property and they have gone ahead to file an investigator’s report which claims Chweya was married to four men.

Leon Nyachae a son to the late minister told court that Chweya was married to the four men and according to the report they got her two sons were from two of these men.

He hired a Private Investigator who wrote a report on Chewya which was filed in court to support their averments that she was never married or had any kids with his late father.

However, Chweya told Justice Eric Ogola that she was ready for her sons to be taken through DNA testing with the alleged four men and also their siblings to know the truth about who their father was.

Chweya’s lawyers and Nyachae’s lawyer told court that they need two days for consultations with a view of filing a consent in court that will allow for DNA testing.

Chweya maintained that the late Nyachae was the father to all her three children saying the DNA test will confirm that.
